According to some of the Honourable’s neighbours, the lady reportedly rushed down to inform the lawmaker’s security details that “oga just fell down and is vomiting blood.”
Street Journal gathered that by the time the security officers entered Hon Nomiye’s bedroom, he was found on the floor with a towel around his waist as he bled from the mouth. He was rushed in his official car, a Toyota Camry with registration number “148B REP” to a private clinic in the neighbourhood. The Doctors at the clinic were said to have told them that it was more than what they could handle, thus prompting the movement of the Honourable to the National Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Street Journal gathered that the female banker who saw the lawmaker last is presently being held at the Gwarimpa Police Division. She has reportedly made useful statements to the police.
It is believed in some quarters that the late Honourable fell victim to “magun”, a charm normally used to track down unfaithful women. The existence of “magun” as well as its efficacy have however remained very difficult to prove scientifically.
