The Boko Haram has released a video purportedly showing the kidnapped Chibok girls.
The video shows Abubakar Shekau, the fugitive Boko Haram leader, and over 100 girls wearing hijab.
In the video, shown on BBC, Mr. Shekau claimed the girls had become Muslims.
The girls could be seen in the video wearing the full length black and ash-coloured hijab with only their faces showing, and reciting Quranic verses.
Mr. Shekau said he would release the girls only if Boko Haram prisoners held nationwide are released.
The over 200 girls were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State on April 14.
