Why Gulak Was Happy After Jonathan Sacked Him

Following the sack of Alhaji Ahmed Gulak,  two days ago by President Goodluck Jonathan. The former Political Adviser to the President who has been at the forefront of affairs in attacking those who criticised the President contradicted what was originally the stand of journalists who said that his sack has got to do with the recent clash between the former and Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state  .
Alhaji Gulak has explained that he was sacked because he had to join the governorship race in Adamawa State. He explained that he is in a good relationship with the president and the PDP family.
He stressed that,  “Indigenes of Adamawa State are fed up with the misgovernment of Admiral Murtala Nyako, whose accomplishments in office has been very negligible and controversial. My people have been urging me to come and contest and to ensure that leadership in the state will benefit the common man.  Now, with the sack, I can give undivided attention to my ambition as governor of my state.” The Last Words Spoken By Ahmed Gulak After The Sack, Just Before He Left Presidential Villa
