MAY DAY BOMBING: ‘Terrorism can defeat anyone including my husband’ – Patience Jonathan

The first lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan, has called on Nigerians to support her hubby, President Jonathan Goodluck, to fight the insurgents Boko Haram in the country. Mrs Jonathan said: “terrorism can defeat anyone including my husband, President Goodluck Jonathan, if he fights alone, because terrorism cannot defeat us collectively.” She therefore make an appeal for collective battle to tackle the insecurity in the country.
The wife of President, made this appeal during the 44th Birthday celebration of the National Coordinator of the Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, Mr. Gani Adams, held in Ikeja, Lagos.
According to Mrs. Jonathan, who was represented by Senior Special Assistance to President on Youths and Student matters, Mr. Jude Imagwe, she said, “I want to thank all Nigerians but as I appreciate your effort, I must remind you that you all have a responsibility to play in the security challenges facing this country.”
