All
Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has
warned that Nigeria would burn if what happened during last weekend’s
local government re-run election repeats itself during the 2015
presidential polls.
Whereas the Kwara Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC) declared
the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, AbdulWaheed Olanipekun,
as winner of the election held on Saturday, APC insists that its
candidate, Saheed Popoola, was robbed of victory.
Writing on his Facebook page minutes yesterday, Fani-Kayode, a one-time Minister of Aviation, said:
“APC won the election in Offa yesterday. They won by a landslide in
every single ward. Sadly it has been announced that PDP won. If this
happens in the 2015 Presidential election Nigeria will burn.”
